In many counties in Central Virginia you don’t have to use the company contracted with your school for your senior photography–and for many you don’t need formal photos to submit to the yearbook. You can have a senior photo that truly showcases your personality for years to come.
My Terry Beigie Photography Senior Models have the ability to do themed senior photoshoots where we spend a ton of time going over ideas, clothing, props, locations, the whole works. This is like having a second senior session in addition to their regular one! I love, love, LOVE sports portraits. Sports are a huge part of any high school athlete’s life and I want to capture them with cool lighting effects and unique posing ideas. This is something I specialize in–using studio lights on site. It's very important to me to include sports in the high school senior photography experience.
A fun mini-photoshoot can celebrate a milestone in your children's lives, such as turning 13 or 16, or starting high school, a bat or bar mitzvah, a quinceaneras, or just for fun, and can be of reasonable cost. I often hear from the parents of the high school seniors I photograph that it has been years since they had a professional photo of the children or the family as a whole (except for the not-inspired school photos). Yes, I’m biased because I am a photographer, but even before I opened my business I had numerous photo session for my children who are now 16 & 14. Why wait until your children are high school seniors to have fabulous photos taken for them? I’m starting to photograph more and more teenagers for different things, but in a slightly toned-down version of the senior experience!
